Hi, I’m Amanda. I have worked as a teacher for 13 years and as a private tutor for 2 years.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from Whittier College in 2008. I also have a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and I received my Masters of Arts in Education in 2010.
My passions include music, specifically piano and guitar, reading, and spending time in nature; I love to go on hikes with my husband, my two children, and our dog. And of course, TEACHING! I strongly believe in taking a developmental approach to teaching, and I desire to create an active, fun, and engaging learning environment to instill a lifelong love of learning in my students.
